Stepdown/Med Surg/Tele RN – Iowa | 8/10 Orientation
Seeking an experienced Med Surg/Tele, Stepdown, PCU, or Progressive Care RN for a float position in Iowa. First-time travelers are welcome with at least 2 years of recent hospital experience.
Quick Details:
- EMR: Epic required
- Weekend: Every other weekend
- On Call: None
- Radius Rule: 50+ miles
- Required License: Active IA or Compact RN license
- Required Certs: BLS, ACLS
- Helpful Certs: NIHSS, MOAB/CPI or similar de-escalation cert
RN will primarily support Med Surg but must be comfortable floating as needed across Med Surg, Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, and post-procedural areas. Strong Telemetry skills are required, including rhythm strip interpretation and basic dysrhythmia recognition.
Must be comfortable with common drips including heparin, insulin, Lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin. Traveler must pass a Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment during onboarding.
