Description
Fauquier Health is now a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much, much more. The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and robotic-assisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery.
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/wk
• Weekend Hours: every other weekend
• Call Requirements: N/A
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS
• Float Requirements: yes, rare. Only to unit appropriate to skill or as a "set of hands"
• Must Have Skills/Experience: self-motivated and self-sufficient, able to perform all ER tasks. ie- phlebotomy, IV, EKG, splinting, wound care, transporting
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: 2+ yrs, patient centered with focus on creating a positive experience for patients and families while meeting operational metrics
• Type of Patients on Unit: standard ER patients
