HOT JOB: ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST – 5x8 DAYS (MATTOON, IL)

I am fast-tracking applications for two experienced Echocardiography Technologists to support an active cardiac imaging department in Mattoon, Illinois. This is a 13-week contract featuring a predictable daytime schedule, localized decision-making, and an immediate review pipeline!

POSITION QUICK-FACTS

• Shift Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shifts | Monday through Friday (5x8s)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours weekly
• Weekend & Call Mandates: To Be Determined (TBD) by the department manager.
• Systems & Charting: Cerner EMR
• On-Call Financials: $5.00/hr standby rate | 1.3x Call-Back Multiplier

THE CLINICAL MATRIX

• The Environment: A highly regarded, non-profit regional health system anchored by a modern 169-bed acute care facility. The organization boasts excellent patient experience and high employee engagement marks.
• Core Modalities: Responsible for producing premium-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations.
• Procedural Scope: Autonomously perform comprehensive adult Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE), assist cardiologists with Transesophageal Assessments (TEE), and execute Exercise/Pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of current, dedicated inpatient/outpatient Echocardiography experience is required.
• Registries: Active ARDMS registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) is required at the time of submission [HARDSTOP].
• Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• Employment Separation Restriction: Any clinician who has been a direct staff employee of this health system within the past 2 years is ineligible for contract consideration.
• Geographic Rule [CRITICAL]: Travel candidates only. This facility will not review or hire local candidates. All applicants must provide a permanent address verifying they reside outside a strict 50-mile radius from the Mattoon, IL campus.
