Locum Cardiology NP/PA Opportunity – Eureka, CA
💲 Compensation: Up to $120/hour (DOE) + Travel, Lodging & Malpractice Covered
📍 Location: Eureka, California
🏥 Facility: Providence St. Joseph Health – St. Joseph Hospital

Position Overview
Providence St. Joseph Health is seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiology coverage. This is a full-time, long-term locum opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and no call responsibilities.
Position Highlights
- Full-time (35–40 hours/week)
- Monday–Friday schedule
- No call
- Inpatient & Outpatient Cardiology
- Approximately 12 patients per day
- Epic EMR
- Collaborative cardiology team
Requirements
- Board Certified NP or PA
- Active California License
- Active DEA
- ACLS & BLS Certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient cardiology rounding experience
- Current hospital-based cardiology clinical activity
- Updated CV with all hospital affiliations
Compensation & Benefits
- Up to $120/hour
- Travel reimbursement
- Lodging allowance up to $2,700/month
- Malpractice insurance provided
- Overtime available with prior approval
