HOT JOB: SURGICAL UNIT RN – 3x12 NIGHTS (JANESVILLE, WI)
I am fast-tracking applications for an experienced Medical-Surgical / Post-Op Registered Nurse. This is a 13-week contract at a premier 150-500 bed medical and trauma center in Janesville, Wisconsin, with an immediate review pipeline.
POSITION QUICK-FACTS
- Start Date: Immediate / ASAP (13 Weeks)
- Shift Schedule: 18:30 PM - 07:00 AM | 12-Hour Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly
- Weekend & Holiday Requirements: Scheduled every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday rotation.
- Systems & Charting: Epic EMR
THE CLINICAL MATRIX
- The Environment: Dynamic, fast-paced inpatient Surgical Unit.
- Patient Demographics: Primarily an Adult Surgical Unit managing acute post-operative recoveries, with a small designation of pediatric overflow beds.
- Core Duties: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to execute individualized plans of care. Manage post-surgical monitoring, complex wound care, medication administration, and comprehensive patient/family discharge education.
- Float Requirement: Travelers are required to float to other acute care units or sister departments as needed based on hospital census.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Wisconsin (WI) state RN license or valid multi-state Compact license must be active and in-hand at the time of submission.
- Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are strictly required.
- Compliance Note: Formally verified education history is an absolute requirement for credentialing at this facility.
