Description

• Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation   
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 
• Weekend Hours: Every other/As Needed. 
• Call Requirements: As Needed.  
• Required Certifications: BLS 
• Years of Experience: 1+ 
• Float Requirements: Y (will get floated to acute if our census is low)

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 12 
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 
• Equipment: Lift, sliding board, sara steady, various PT/OT equipment, EKG, vital machines,  
• EHR: Meditech

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: 21 year of age to > 90 years of age

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Communication, Teamwork, Flexibility, decision making, patient safety, escalation to physician or APP 
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Rehab and Med Surg experience. 
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Ortho, Stroke, Neuro, cardiac, SCI, spine, brain injury, myopathy, etc 
• Personality Fit: positive, reaching out to help coworkers, empathy, positive  

• Required Education: Certification/Licensure required to work as an RN in TN.  

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Any; scrubs or scrub bottom and Tshirt/sweatshirt that can be purchased from our gift shop (hospital name).  
• Any unacceptable attire: Casual wear, other facility branded clothing.
