HANSTAFF is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with Correctional Facilities across your State to help them find AMAZING Nurses. We’re looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility!

 

Pay Rate: $64 / hour
*W2

Position: Clinical Pharmacist

 

Work Order Commitment (WOC) for 6 months, Schedule (Monday through Friday, Regular Business Hours)

 

Primary Location: Lower Buckeye Jail Administrative Office

 

Supporting Documentation/Additional Qualifications:

  • Copy of diploma/transcripts to support graduation with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a program accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education.
  • Copy of a current, valid, unrestricted Pharmacist license issued by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Copy of current, completed PSV from the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy obtained via the following link: one year of past work experience in this position.
  • Completion of PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred

Service Description: Assesses appropriateness of and completeness of prescriptions and medication orders. Monitors drug therapy by evaluating patient medical history, clinically significant drug interactions, adverse reactions, therapeutic duplications, drug dosage, and compliance with prescription order. Suggestion of appropriate therapeutic interchanges. Evaluation, expansion, and daily management of medication formulary. Interdisciplinary collaboration with medical staff. Informal and formal medication presentations to executive and clinical staff.
