Position Highlights

FastMed Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality urgent care services. Providers must be comfortable practicing independently in a fast-paced environment, treating both adult and pediatric patients.
Requirements
 

• Active North Carolina NP/PA License
   
• Active North Carolina DEA
   
• Board Certified
   
• BLS Certification (ACLS/PALS & DOT Certification preferred)
   
• Minimum 12 months of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or similar experience
   
• Experience treating adults and pediatrics (6 months and older)
   
• Comfortable seeing 45+ patients per day as the sole provider
   
• Epic EMR experience preferred
   
• Must already live locally (travel and lodging are not provided)
   

Practice Details
 

• Outpatient Urgent Care
   
• Adults & Pediatrics (6 months+)
   
• Minor procedures including laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures
   
• Dedicated MA and Center Manager support
   
• Supervising physician available off-site
   

Additional Information
 

• No Call
   
• Fast credentialing (approximately 20 days)
   
• Mandatory Epic training and onboarding before first shift
   
• Clinical screening/interview required prior to placement
