📋 Assignment Details

  • 13-week contract
  • 39 hours per week
  • 3 x 13-hour shifts (30-minute lunch)
  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 5-day orientation
  • Extension opportunities available
  • Overtime available after 40 hours
  • Limited RTO accepted
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
  • No on-call requirement

Clinical screen is required prior to submission.

Travel Package

Up to $1,685/week

Taxable Pay

  • Hourly Rate: $20.00
  • 39 Hours: $780/week

Weekly Stipends

  • Lodging: $905/week

Estimated Gross Weekly: $1,685

 

Requirements

  • Active RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of Corrections or Acute Care experience
  • Behavioral Health experience will also be considered
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required

Position Overview

 

Join a secure correctional healthcare team providing nursing care to an adult incarcerated population. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment caring for patients with a variety of medical and behavioral health needs while delivering quality, patient-centered care.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments and nursing interventions
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Monitor patient conditions and document changes
  • Respond to medical emergencies as needed
  • Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Provide care in a secure correctional environment
