Description
Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $135,000–$150,000 annually
Job Summary
Seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to provide high-quality outpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents. The role includes preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric assessments, physical exams, and well-child visits.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
- Prescribe medications and provide ongoing patient management.
- Administer immunizations and perform minor office procedures.
- Educate patients and families on health, nutrition, and disease prevention.
- Coordinate referrals and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- MSN or DNP with Pediatric specialization.
- Current PNP certification (PNCB or ANCC).
- Active RN and APRN licenses in New York.
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- EMR/EHR experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
