Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RN NICU Nurse Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership for a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The Nurse Manager will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure high-quality patient care, support staff development, manage resources, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily operations of the NICU nursing unit.
- Ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, retention, and staff development.
- Conduct performance evaluations and competency assessments.
- Manage unit staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization.
- Assist with budget planning and expense management.
- Promote employee engagement and a positive work culture.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Support leadership initiatives, shared governance, and professional development programs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- AHA - BLS
- NRP
Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
