🔥 HIGH-GROSS NIGHT-SHIFT L&D RN CONTRACT – AUTO-OFFER OPPORTUNITY
First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel opening for an experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) in Issaquah, Washington. Operating within the state-of-the-art Providence Swedish Medical Center Issaquah Campus, this position is optimized as a high-earning 48-hour weekly contract. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $3,090.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $2,050.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $20.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $30.00/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 4x12-Hours (19:00 - 07:30). Block scheduling formats are not available.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours plus 8 overtime hours scheduled weekly.
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: Excellent, high-acuity structures tracking tightly between 1:1 and 1:3 depending on labor status.
- EMR Charting System: Epic experience is required.
- Clinical Scope & Pacing: Active unit supporting a volume of 200–300 facility births per month, featuring 8 dedicated labor rooms and 4 triage rooms. Work settings encompass Labor & Delivery, High-Risk Antepartum, Low-Risk Antepartum, Low-Risk L&D, and teaching hospital dynamics.
- Core Responsibilities & Procedures: Attending all regular and high-risk deliveries, circulating and recovering C-sections, performing sterile vaginal exams, obstetrical triage, and couplet care/transition nursery workflows. Managing GYN surgeries, blood/blood product administrations, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, drains, and wound vacs is required.
- High-Acuity Infusions & Pain Management: Direct management of continuous IV insulin drips, Heparin protocols, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, anticoagulation, and antihypertensives. Managing epidural anesthesia pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps is a core standard.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience as an RN in a dedicated Labor and Delivery unit. Less than 2 years of experience will be screened out.
- Licensure: Valid Washington State Nursing License or a valid Multi-State Compact RN License must be active at submission.
- Certifications Required: Active AHA BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications are strictly required to pass automated compliance filters. AHA ACLS certification is highly preferred.
