First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel opening for a highly skilled General Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) in Olympia, Washington. Operating within a 325-bed short-term acute care infrastructure at Providence Saint Peter Hospital, this role features a dedicated weekend night schedule. - Weekly Gross: $2,101.00

- Overtime Rate: $24.00/hr
š SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours (19:00 PM - 07:30 AM). Runs as a dedicated weekend night track with 3 weekend night shifts required every single week. Bypasses standard block scheduling parameters.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: Completely free from standard on-call obligations!
- EMR Charting System: Epic experience is required.
- Clinical Scope & Triage Focus: The core expectation for this night shift is to rapidly cover incoming STAT and ASAP orders throughout the entire 400-bed facility layout. This heavily consists of Emergency Department (ER) scans and OB triage ordersāsome of which are bedside portables, though most patients can be transported directly into the ultrasound department rooms. Routine scheduled exams are not an expectation of this shift (though assistance with routines at the very beginning or tail-end of a block is highly appreciated). Note: Special interventional procedures are not performed during this shift.
- Anatomy & Specialty Imaging: Comprehensive diagnostic mapping covering standard abdominal lines (aorta, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, appendix), renal/pelvis studies (bladder, uterus, ovaries, hernia, prostate, transvaginal), small parts (superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, thyroid), and high-acuity vascular studies (carotids, color flow, Doppler, upper/lower extremity arterial and venous duplex). Basic OB/GYN tracking covers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-trimester parameters, amniotic fluid index, and placenta previa checks. Patient populations span all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
- Hardware Suite: Direct hands-on utilization of advanced GE and Siemens scanning hardware platforms alongside PACS networking logs. Ratios run stable at 1:1 across a 6-room scanning department.
šØ REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a General Ultrasound Tech. Prior exposure to high-volume acute care settings, ER flows, or teaching hospital environments is highly preferred.
- Registry Credentials: Active ARDMS registration is a strict requirement. Candidates must hold either ARDMS (AB) OR ARDMS (OB/GYN) certificationāpossessing both is not required.
- Certifications Required: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is completely mandatory to clear the portal filters (AHA cards only).
