Description

Join a collaborative educational team dedicated to helping students thrive! Cross Country Education is seeking a School Psychologist to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success throughout the 2026–2027 school year in Tempe, AZ.

Position Overview:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments to support students' academic and developmental needs.
Interpret evaluation results, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations to guide individualized educational planning.
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams by participating in IEP meetings, providing consultation, and supporting student interventions.
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and deliver staff training and parent education to promote positive student outcomes.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- Doctoral degree preferred
Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certification/Licensure
Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Experience conducting psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation in school settings
Knowledge of special education regulations, behavioral intervention practices, and student support frameworks
