HOT JOB: REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (RRT) – 3x12 DAYS (MEQUON/OZAUKEE, WI)

I am fast-tracking applications for an experienced, highly autonomous Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). This is a 13-week day-shift contract at a premier hospital system just North of Milwaukee in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, featuring an immediate review pipeline.

POSITION QUICK-FACTS

• Start Date: 08/02/2026 – 10/31/2026 (13 Weeks)
• Shift Schedule: 06:00 AM - 18:30 PM | 12-Hour Day Shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly
• Weekend & Holiday Requirements: Scheduled every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation.
• On-Call Mandate: None – No call required!
• Systems & Charting: Epic EMR (Required).

THE CLINICAL MATRIX

• The Environment: A modern community-hospital respiratory care department requiring seamless integration with emergency and intensive care teams.
• Advanced Scope of Practice: Must be completely competent to perform high-level interventions including autonomous airway management, emergency intubations, and arterial line insertions alongside standard therapeutic protocols.
• Clinical Case Mix: Deliver comprehensive care across all acuities, ranging from routine floor bronchodilator therapies to advanced mechanical ventilation management in critical care zones.
• Float Pool Scope: Must be willing to float onsite within your skill set or deploy to regional sister facility sites located within a 40-mile radius if structurally required by the network.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of current, dedicated RRT experience that explicitly includes high-acuity critical care management. Prior travel contract experience is preferred.
• Technical Skill Requirements: Verifiable competency in intubation, arterial line insertion, and Epic EMR charting must be clearly highlighted on your profile.
• Credentials: Active National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Wisconsin (WI) state Respiratory Care Practitioner license must be in-hand at the time of submission.
• Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Geographic Policy: Both travel and local candidates are fully accepted. Local candidates qualifying under the regional local billing structure will be processed at the local rate.
