HOT JOB: EMERGENCY ROOM RN – 3x12 DAYS (RACINE, WI)
I am fast-tracking applications for a seasoned, highly adaptable Emergency Department Registered Nurse. This is a 13-week day-shift contract covering a local medical leave at a prominent hospital campus in Racine, Wisconsin. It features a highly desirable 0700 day schedule, zero on-call mandates, and an immediate profile review pipeline.
POSITION QUICK-FACTS
- Start Date: 08/02/2026 – 10/31/2026 (13 Weeks)
- Shift Schedule: 07:00 AM - 19:30 PM | 12-Hour Day Shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly
- Weekend Requirements: Scheduled every 3rd weekend rotation.
- Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday (EOH) rotation.
- On-Call Mandate: None – No call required!
- Systems & Charting: Epic EMR (Required).
THE CLINICAL MATRIX
- The Environment: A high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department requiring exceptional triage accuracy, decisive critical thinking, and rapid stabilizing interventions.
- Core Duties: Manage high-acuity patient assignments ranging from trauma and cardiac presentations to acute medical crisises. Direct complex code scenarios, administer emergency pharmacology, and coordinate seamless transfers to intensive care or surgical units.
- Float Pool Scope: High flexibility is required. You must be willing to float onsite within your clinical skill set or deploy to regional sister facility campuses located within a 40-mile radius if structurally required by the network.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of dedicated Emergency Room experience is strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Travel History: Prior travel contract experience is required.
- Technical Proficiencies: Must have verified, hands-on charting proficiency with Epic EMR.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Wisconsin (WI) state RN license or valid multi-state Compact license must be active and in-hand at the time of submission.
- Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS/TNCC are highly valued).
- Geographic Policy: Both travel and local candidates are fully accepted. Local candidates qualifying under the regional billing structure will be processed at a regular local rate.
