HOT JOB: REGISTERED VASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST (RVT) – NO CALL / NO WEEKENDS (TOWSON, MD)

 

I am fast-tracking applications for a highly seasoned Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT/RVS). This is a 13-week outpatient-focused day contract in Towson, Maryland, featuring a highly desirable 32-hour guaranteed workweek, zero on-call mandates, and no weekend rotations.

 

POSITION QUICK-FACTS

  • Start Date: 08/04/2026 (13 Weeks)
  • Shift Schedule: Day shifts (Monday through Friday)
    • Monday – Thursday: 07:30 AM - 16:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
    • Friday: 07:30 AM - 12:00 PM (4.5-hour short shift)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours weekly
  • Weekend Requirements: None – Absolute weekend block off!
  • On-Call Mandate: None – No call required!

THE CLINICAL MATRIX

  • The Role: Provide clinically precise, autonomous non-invasive diagnostic vascular testing to assist vascular surgeons with complex pathology diagnosis and targeted treatment mapping.
  • Core Competencies: Meticulous execution of venous and arterial duplex imaging studies, including deep vein thrombosis (DVT) evaluations, venous insufficiency mappings, carotid duplex, and peripheral arterial assessments.
  • Venous Mandate [CRITICAL]: Extensive, specialized venous mapping and scanning experience is strictly required and must be prominently documented within your clinical resume.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of recent, dedicated Registered Vascular Technologist experience is required [HARDSTOP].
  • Travel History: Prior travel contract experience is required. First-time travel candidates will not be considered.
  • Registries & Credentials: Must hold an active, unrestricted certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS or as a Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through CCI [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
  • Vaccination Mandate: Complete, state-recorded COVID-19 vaccination series is required. Medical or religious exemptions/declinations will not be approved by this health system.
  • Geographic Policy: Both regional travel candidates and local applicants are fully accepted.

REQUIRED SUBMISSION PROFILE DOCUMENTS

  1. Comprehensive Cover Page: A facility-specific cover sheet (will be provided to you upon initial screening).
  2. Resume: A clean, updated resume mapping out 5+ years of vascular scanning. All employment gaps exceeding 30 days must be explicitly typed out and explained.
  3. References: Two supervisory/manager references required:
    • Reference 1: Signed by a supervisor within the last 6 months.
    • Reference 2: Signed by a supervisor within the last 12 months.
  4. Skills Checklist: A comprehensive Vascular/Ultrasound skills checklist completed within the last 12 months.
  5. Credential Copies: Proof of active ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) status, active AHA BLS certificate, and your verified state-recorded COVID-19 vaccine passport.
