HOT JOB: CARDIAC CATH LAB RN – 4x10 DAYS & CALL (CHARLESTON, SC)
I am fast-tracking applications for an experienced, adaptable Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to support a premier medical facility in historic Charleston, South Carolina. This contract features a stable 4x10 day-shift layout, zero weekend obligations outside of call rotation, and a unique 8-week short-term assignment perfect for locking in your next autumn placement!
POSITION QUICK-FACTS
- Start Date: 09/07/2026 – 10/31/2026 (8 Weeks)
- Shift Schedule: 07:30 AM - 18:00 PM | Monday through Friday (4 Days/Week)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours weekly
- Work Schedule: 4x10-Hour Day Shifts
- On-Call Mandate: On-call shifts are required. The exact rotation structure and call-back parameters will be discussed directly with the hiring manager during your interview.

THE CLINICAL MATRIX
- The Setting: A sophisticated, high-performing Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
- Core Competencies: Perform rigorous, holistic pre- and intra-procedural patient assessments spanning physical, cognitive, and functional indicators. Formulate and prioritize acute care pathways alongside interventional cardiologists, monitor conscious sedation metrics, and act as a decisive patient advocate.
- Dynamic Float Requirements: Must be highly flexible. You may be deployed to cover the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, and occasionally Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) / Cardioversions (CVs).
- TEE/CV Scope Note: If floated to cover TEEs or cardioversions, your responsibilities are limited strictly to intra-procedure support (documenting procedural time-outs, tracking milestones, and circulating the room for minor supplies).
- Advanced Technical Skill: The department is primarily looking for a strong circulator and monitor nurse; however, the ability to scrub cases is highly desired and considered a premium bonus!
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)
- Experience: Proven, dedicated acute-care experience in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab setting. Must be proficient in professional nursing theory, safety hazard precautions, and critical thinking in emergency interventional crises.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly desired.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted South Carolina (SC) state RN license or a valid multi-state Compact license must be active and in-hand at submission. (Note: Compact license holders must not maintain permanent residency within the state of South Carolina to qualify).
- Certifications:
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification [HARDSTOP].
