Required Skills:

• Valid RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute or correctional healthcare
• BLS, ACLS certifications (MOAB certification provided if not already held)
• Experience with phlebotomy, starting IVs, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management
• Ability to perform detox rounds and triage new patients
• Strong assessment skills, including vital signs, wellness checks, and emergency response
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and oxygen therapy protocols
• Proficiency in electronic charting (Cerner experience preferred)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in detention or correctional facilities
• Prior travel nursing experience in similar settings
• Additional certifications such as PALS or equivalent

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Active RN license with at least 1-2 years of clinical experience
• Correctional healthcare background or experience with adult patient populations
• Flexibility to accommodate a block schedule with 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

Other Requirements:

• No locals within 100 miles; non-local license required
• Ability to pass a facility background check and in-person MOAB training if not certified
• Travel compliance including drug screening within 30 days of start
• Willingness to work every other weekend and participate in a guaranteed 36 hours/week schedule
• Physical ability to perform clinical duties, including safety precautions and emergency interventions
• COVID vaccination is optional; vaccination records or declination must be provided
