Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU experience
• Must be experienced with:
  • CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
  • BiPAP
  • Drawing own labs
  • Chest tubes
  • PICC line management
  • No vascular access team (must independently manage vascular access needs)
  • Calling physician consults independently
  • Leading/responding to codes comfortably
• Preferred:
  • Open-heart recovery (Post-op Day 2–3)
  • Temporary pacer wire management

Required Licensure & Certifications

• Kansas RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIH)

Floating Requirements

Required to float, within competency, to:

• ICU
• Medical-Surgical
• Medical-Telemetry
• Acute-Telemetry
• Emergency Department (if prior ED experience)

Weekend Requirement

• Every other weekend

On-Call

• None

Holiday Requirement

• Based on unit needs
