- 40 Hours/Week
- Monday–Sunday scheduling (7-day operation)
- Rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend)

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Travel Cardiac Sonographer to perform a full range of diagnostic echocardiography procedures, including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing and interpreting cardiac ultrasound studies while collaborating closely with cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
Minimum Requirements
- Travel experience required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) experience
- Experience performing and interpreting:
- 2D Echocardiograms
- M-Mode Echocardiograms
- Color Doppler
- Pulsed & Continuous Wave Doppler
- Stress Echocardiograms
- Stress Doppler Studies
- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Experience with EKGs, stress testing, and Holter monitoring preferred
Education
- Graduate of a Certified Ultrasound Program
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Cardiac Sonography Program (or equivalent)
Required Certifications
- Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification
- AHA BLS Certification
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiography examinations
- Operate and evaluate M-Mode, 2D, Color Doppler, Pulsed Wave, and Continuous Wave Doppler studies
- Perform Stress Echo and Stress Doppler examinations
- Assist cardiologists during Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Dobutamine Stress Echo procedures
- Perform EKGs, stress tests, and Holter monitor testing
- Review patient history to determine appropriate imaging protocols
- Ensure accurate image acquisition, interpretation, and timely documentation
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Educate patients regarding procedures and provide compassionate care
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
