HOT JOB: MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST – 5x8 DAYS (ATLANTA, GA)

I am fast-tracking applications for an elite, highly credentialed Mammography Technologist to join a premier outpatient imaging suite in Atlanta, Georgia. This 13-week contract features a highly desirable Monday through Friday daytime schedule, zero weekend or on-call mandates, and a strict travel-only profile pipeline.

THE CLINICAL MATRIX

• The Environment: A sophisticated, high-volume breast imaging department specializing in early detection, diagnostic screenings, and state-of-the-art tomography.
• Core Competencies: Autonomously perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensure precise patient positioning, select proper exposure factors, and evaluate images for technical accuracy.
• Patient Care: Maintain a highly professional, empathetic, and reassuring patient environment while executing high-volume, exact imaging protocols under strict regulatory standards.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)

This facility requires an exhaustive MQSA-compliant credentialing package. All documents must be fully available at the time of profile submission to avoid automated rejection.

• Experience Baseline: Minimum 2 years of recent, dedicated experience within the Mammography specialty.
• Registries & Certificates [REQUIRED]:
  • Active ARRT Radiography registration with primary source verification.
  • Active ARRT Mammography certification (ARRT-M) is strictly required.

• Clinical Case Volume Verification [HARDSTOP]:

  ⚠️ DOCUMENTATION MANDATE: You must provide official, signed documentation from department leadership proving completion of at least 200 mammography exams within the last 24 months.

• Mandatory Training Records:
  • Documented proof of 40 hours of initial mammography training.
  • Documented proof of your initial 25 supervised mammography exams.
  • Documented proof of 8 hours of Digital Mammography training AND 8 hours of 3D/Tomosynthesis training.
  • Proof of at least 15 breast-specific Continuing Education Units (CEUs) completed within the last 3 years.
• Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• Geographic Policy: Travel candidates only. A strict 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
