Job Title: Travel Telemetry/Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - 7 Central
Job Description: Join the 7 Central unit at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA. We are seeking a skilled Telemetry RN with Level 1 Trauma experience to support a 38-bed unit specializing in neuro, ortho, and complex surgical care.
Key Highlights:
- Unit Profile: 7 Central (38 beds) covering Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and Med-Surg.
- Shift: 12-hour Nights (7p–7:30a), including every other weekend rotation.
- Ratios: 5–6:1 on night shifts.
- Culture: We prioritize a supportive environment for students, new hires, and team members.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience. Level 1 Trauma experience is required.
- Certifications: Active MA RN license, AHA BLS, and AHA ACLS.
- Clinical Competencies: Epic charting, telemetry, and management of specialized equipment (ceiling/hoyer lifts, PCAs, CADD pumps) and drips (Heparin, Diltiazem, Morphine).
- Adaptability: Must be comfortable being the first to float to Med-Surg and ED units.
