Unit EC Fast track Clinic Rooms-4 (ESI 4-5) # beds/trauma bays 12 beds, 2 are trauma bays # Psych/seclusion rooms 1 seclusion room # patients per day 70 per day 

Certs BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Ratios 1 to 4 EMR Meditech 

Charge Nurse Yes, do not take patients Nurse Aides/Paramedics 1 paramedic per shift, typically run clinic and respond to trauma or code; will have ER techs as well as least 1 per shift, try to have 2; have nurse externs who are people in nursing school as well Security/Patient sitters Will use for psych holds 1 on 1 observation
