Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, and providing comprehensive nursing care throughout the patient's procedural experience. The RN will plan, implement, coordinate, and document individualized patient care while ensuring adherence to evidence-based nursing practices and organizational standards.

This position requires an experienced Cath Lab circulating nurse with strong knowledge of interventional cardiac procedures, hemodynamic support devices, and electronic documentation systems.

Department: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Facility: Ocean University Medical Center
Location: 425 Jack Martin Blvd, Brick, NJ 08724
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week

Weekend Requirement: On-call requirement with 1 weekend per month

Holiday Requirement: 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday (on-call)

On-Call Requirement: Required – 4 weekday call shifts plus one weekend call (Friday through Sunday)

Float Requirement: No floating required

Scrubs: Provided by the hospital

Required Clinical Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience and 2 years of experience preferred.

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)

Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and the Cath Lab team
