Cath Lab RN – Profile Review & Manager Interview

Position Highlights

• 60-mile radius rule (Driver's License required with submission)
• Must be in-state during orientation week, even if first-day modules are remote

Schedule

• 4×9-hour shifts per week
• Approximately 10 weeknight call shifts per month
• Weekend call every 3rd weekend (Friday–Sunday)
• Holiday call rotation (shared among staff)
• 30-minute call response time

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience required
• IR experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
• BLS
• ACLS

Cath Lab Details

• 2 procedure suites
• Approximately 4 cases per day (Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology combined)

Patient Population & Procedures

• STEMI
• NSTEMI
• Pacemaker procedures
• Interventional Radiology cases

Clinical Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor procedures
• Pre- and post-procedure patient care
• Pre-procedure and post-procedure patient phone calls

Equipment & Systems

• EMR: Epic
• Systems: MacLab, Siemens
• Cardiologist on-site during the day and on-call overnight

Floating

• Rare floating within Zone 3 if needed:
  • LUH
  • OCH
  • SAH
  • SAN

Orientation & Dress Code

• Department orientation over several days following CommonSpirit orientation
• Hospital-provided blue scrubs
