Travel Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) / Mental Health Counselor – Emergency Department | Spokane, WA | 13 Weeks | Days
Location: Spokane, Washington
Position: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) / Mental Health Counselor / Marriage & Family Therapist
Department: Adult & Pediatric Emergency Department
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
Responsibilities
- Conduct crisis and suicide risk assessments for adult and pediatric patients.
- Complete comprehensive psychosocial evaluations.
- Develop appropriate discharge and safety plans.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health teams.
- Facilitate referrals to community and inpatient behavioral health resources.
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.
Requirements
- Full Washington State licensure is required (Associate licenses will not be accepted).
- Current Washington license as one of the following:
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Experience conducting crisis and behavioral health risk assessments for adult and pediatric patients.
- Hospital or Emergency Department experience preferred.
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of approximately 7.
