We’re currently looking for an Autonomous Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a Corrections contract assignment.

Job Title: Autonomous Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Location: State Farm, VA
Setting: Corrections facility
Pay Range: $85-$89 hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40-hours per week, 8a-4:30p
Contract Length: 13
Candidate Type: Local or Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Autonomous practice experience, able to practice without MD supervision

Qualified applicants MUST have:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license
• Experience working in corrections or similar facility
• Ability to work independently in a corrections setting

Preferred Skills:

• Primary Care Experience

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a corrections facility, you will:

• Provide autonomous NP care per state and facility protocols (NP)
• Utilize key skills such as emergency response and patient assessment
• Manage patient care with industry-standard practices and documentation
