Description
Role: RN Medical Surgical
Location: Topeka, KS
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Pay: 2300$/Week
Job Description
Provide safe, patient-centered medical-surgical nursing care on a busy med-surg unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult patients with acute and chronic conditions.
Key responsibilities
Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and document condition changes accurately.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders and hospital policy.
Coordinate and implement individualized nursing care plans; prioritize patient needs and safety.
Perform wound care, catheter management, and post-op monitoring as required.
Communicate effectively with physicians, ancillary staff, patients, and families; provide patient education and discharge instructions.
