Job Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- ARRT (R) or RCIS credential required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience.
- Interventional Radiology (IR) experience.
- Vascular procedure experience.
- Hemodynamic monitoring.
- Neurointerventional experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) procedures.
- Peripheral vascular interventions.
- Venous access procedures.
- Rhythm interpretation.
- Philips X-Ray System experience.
- Experience with a variety of atherectomy devices.
- Experience with a variety of thrombectomy devices.
- Temporary LVAD support.
- McKesson for Cath Lab.
- MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP.
Unit Experience
Candidates should have experience with:
- Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization.
- Interventional Cardiac Catheterization.
- STEMI procedures.
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP).
- Impella.
- TandemHeart.
- Structural Heart procedures, including:
- PFO
- TAVR
- Mitral Clip
- Interventional Radiology procedures, including:
- Lines
- Drains
- Embolizations
- Lower and upper extremity interventions
- Fistulas
- Visceral angiography/interventions
- Stroke thrombectomy
- Neurointerventional procedures.
- Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) device implants.
Schedule
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 4x10 Days.
- On-call: Required.
- 1 call shift per week.
- Every 4th weekend on-call.
- Weekend Requirement: Some Saturday shifts are required as part of the regular 4-shift weekly schedule (not an additional shift).
Floating
- Must be willing to float within scope of practice to:
- Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Electrophysiology (EP)
Scheduling
- Block scheduling is not available.
Additional Requirements
- Local candidates are not accepted. Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- Time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer.
- Only one time-off request is permitted per 13-week assignment.
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours every 2 weeks.
- Travelers may be called off for one 10-hour shift per two-week pay period.
