Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join a community-focused hospital in beautiful Tonasket, WA. This role is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring excellent patient care, safety, and imaging quality.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist who enjoys working with diverse patient populations and wants to be part of a supportive rural healthcare team.
Position Highlights

- Serve patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development
- Opportunity to work closely with providers and a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations and fluoroscopic procedures
- Prepare and position patients for imaging studies
- Ensure patient safety and radiation protection at all times
- Operate portable and stationary imaging equipment
- Assist with specialized procedures and surgical imaging exams
- Maintain imaging records, reports, and documentation
- Understand scheduling and prep requirements for X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, and Mammography
- Assist with staff training and quality assurance activities
- Participate in on-call rotation after department hours
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Registered or Registry Eligible
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification
- BLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and remain calm in emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Mammography Certification (ARRT-M) Preferred
- Hospital-based radiology experience
- Experience with multiple imaging modalities
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or additional languages
