Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
• Location: Elizabeth, NJ
• Start Date: August 10, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Charting System: Epic (experience required)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergency situations.
• Initiate and maintain IV access, administer medications, fluids, and blood products as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with a wide range of emergency medical and trauma conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Accurately document patient care using the Epic EMR system.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of Emergency Room RN experience required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Experience with Epic EMR is required.
• Experience managing patient ratios of 1:6 or higher.
• Strong IV therapy and phlebotomy skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency department.
