Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Med-Surg and cardiac care experience, be comfortable managing cardiac drips, and possess excellent assessment and patient management skills.

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN License (or Compact License)
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Dementia care and management experience required
• NIHSS strongly preferred
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Local travelers not accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location)

• Stepdown/Progressive Care nursing
• Cardiac drip management
• Adult and Geriatric patient care
• Dementia patient management
• Cardiac monitoring and assessment
• Patient and family education
• Interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Acute care nursing

Unit Details

• Adult-Geriatric patient population
• EMR: EPIC
• Trauma Level III environment
• Travelers may float to similar units, including Kingsbury, as needed
• Professional traveler-provided scrubs required (no logos)

Schedule & Contract Information

• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirement
• Block scheduling not available
• Up to 5 days RTO accepted if submitted with profile
• Orientation: No separate non-billable orientation hours listed

Submission Requirements

• Updated resume/work history
• Active NH RN License or Compact License
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• Permanent address included in profile
• All RTO disclosed at submission

• 36-hour guarantee only
• Compliance requirements must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Candidates must be comfortable floating to assigned units as needed
