Job Title: Travel Medical-Surgical Ortho Registered Nurse (RN) - Day ShiftJob Description: Join a highly supportive and collaborative team at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN for a 13-week day shift contract on an expanding 32-bed unit. This unit prides itself on amazing teamwork, experienced charge nurses, and strong leadership in a Level II Trauma environment.Contract Details:<ul><li>Start Date: 07/06/2026</li><li>Shift: 12-hour Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)</li><li>Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (48-hour contracts available upon request)</li><li>Rotation: 3 weekends per 6-week schedule and every other holiday.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Experience: Minimum 2 years of strong Med/Surg experience, 1 prior travel assignment, and Trauma Level II experience.</li><li>Certifications: Active Compact RN License, AHA BLS, and NIHSS.</li><li>Skills: Proficiency in EPIC EMR, post-surgical assessments, wound vacs, IV therapies, and basic telemetry.</li><li>Radius Policy: Candidates must reside at least 40 miles from the facility.</li></ul>
