Description
Position: Pharmacist (Clinical + Retail Experience)
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 13-week contract
Setting: CalAIM Program and/or Correctional Health Services
Location Options:
- Los Angeles, CA 90012
- Lynwood, CA 90262
Start Date: Aug 31, 2026
Openings: 2
Shift Information:
- AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- PM Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- EM Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Scheduling Details:
- 5 shifts per week
- Rotating every other weekend
- Example: Work Saturday/Sunday one weekend, off the following weekend
- All new hires will initially train on the PM shift
- After training, pharmacists will either remain on PM shift or transition to EM shift based on operational needs
- Once assigned a shift, candidates are expected to remain on that schedule
- No flexibility for customized shift start times

Required Qualifications:
- Active California Pharmacist License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Dual experience required (Clinical + Retail Pharmacy)
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years recent acute care or hospital experience
- Transition of Care
- Clinical Chart Review
- Medication Refill Authorization
- Medical Billing
- Ambulatory Care
- Clinical Pharmacy Services
Not Accepting:
- Pharmacists with Retail-Only experience
Interview Process:
- Client interview required
- Pharmacy Supervisor and team will conduct interview and make hiring decision
- Candidates selected by the client must complete an onsite core competency exam
- Passing the exam is required to receive an offer
- Candidates who do not pass the exam will not be eligible for employment
