Pay Package (Travel)
- Weekly Gross: $2,804.00
- Weekly Taxable: $816.00
- Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,988.00
Local Pay Rate
- $51.50/hour (same rate as travelers)
Schedule
- Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3x12 OR 4x12-hour shifts — both accepted
- Guaranteed hours:
- 36 hours for 3x12 shifts
- 48 hours for 4x12 shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Block scheduling available
- No call required
- ASAP start needed
Patient Population
- Ages: 2 weeks to 18 years (Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents)
- All pediatric specialties on one unit
- Chronic illness patients with technology dependence
- Tracheostomies with chronic ventilators
- Daily census: 30 | Beds: 39
Patient Ratios
- Days/Nights/Weekends: 1:3–4
Required Skills
- Care of ventilated patients (chronic vents)
- Tracheostomy care and management
- Gastric tube (G-tube) management
- 1:4 patient ratio experience
Required Certifications
- BLS/BCLS
- PALS
- Active Illinois RN License in hand at submission
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- Vent, trach, and G-tube experience (mandatory)
- Travel experience required
Preferred Experience
- PICU background
Technology
- EMR: Meditech (required)
