Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) – Days | California

We are seeking an experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated home health team in California. This is a 13-week travel contract with an immediate start, offering a consistent weekday schedule, mileage reimbursement, and the opportunity to extend.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP (new starts available every Monday)
• 13-week contract
• 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift: Days (8:00 AM–5:00 PM; patient visits typically begin between 9:00–10:00 AM)
• No on-call requirement
• Extension opportunities available
• RTO accepted

Requirements:

• Active California RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• At least 1 year of recent Home Health experience
• Proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and OASIS documentation is required (training is not available)

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to a primarily geriatric patient population in the home setting
• Manage an average caseload of 6 patient visits per day
• Complete 25–30 productivity points daily
• Review assigned patient schedule the evening before and contact patients to confirm visit times
• Accurately document all patient care using Homecare Homebase and OASIS
