Description

Travel Emergency Room RN

Shift: Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Experience: 2+ years ED in a Level III Trauma Center / Primary Stroke Center (First-time travelers accepted)
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
Preferred: CPI, TCAR
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Required Skills: Adult & Pediatric ED, Dysrhythmia interpretation/management, Multisystem trauma, Blood administration, Central line care, IV starts, Phlebotomy, IV sedation, Vasopressors, Ventilator care, Stroke, Neuro/Ortho trauma, Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputations, Seizures, Mental health emergencies
Weekend: Every other weekend
EMR: Epic | Pyxis | SBAR communication
Travel Requirement: No locals within 50 miles
Orientation: 24 hours
