Day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Description

Provide nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases in Labor and Delivery.
Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
Flexible to float to other units as needed.
Patient population includes Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby care.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
At least 2 years of total travel nursing experience.
Experience in Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP), postpartum, and nursery care.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
