REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years required. Level III Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center,
Traveler Experience: First time travelers accepted
Locals accepted (Y/N): No, must be >50 miles
Skills: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Non Trauma Emergency Department, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, CVA, Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho-Trauma, Abdominal pain, Asthma, Burns, Epiglottitis, Head injury, Hyperglycemia, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Mental/behavioral health conditions, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Spinal cord injury, Urinary tract infections, Ventilated patients, Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputation,
Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC

JOB DETAILS:
Shift: 1900 - 0700 Nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other - 2 weekends of a 4 week posted schedule
Patient Ratio Experience Required: 1:5

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): EPIC, Pyxis, SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
