• Number of Beds - 12
• Number of Staff – 3 RNs on 24/7
• Type of staff: 1 CNC, 2 RNs
  • Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters)
  • Night Shift -
• Patient Ratios – 1:4
• Type of equipment – Routine ED
• EMR -Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current ED RN acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS 7 TNCC

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Prior experience working in a FSED
• Ability to have proactive approach to anticipate orders and help others with their orders

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• All routine ED
• RNs do perform RT procedures such as breathing treatments, bipap as well as do point of care labs
