Description
Pride health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse to join our client's home health program in a growing care team serving patients.
Compensation:
- Local Pay: $53–$58/hour (W-2)
- Travel Pay: $2,500–$2,550 gross per week
- Mileage Reimbursement: $0.50/mile (from first patient to last patient)
Location: Trussville, AL, USA, 35173
Schedule details (hours per day/week): 8 hr days/ 40 hour week.
Productivity expectations: 25 points per week
On Call/Weekend Requirement: Rotation of backup call.
Coverage Areas: Jefferson County, St. Clair County, Blount County, Cullman County, and Etowah County.
Shift schedule (days, start & end times): Monday through Friday 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive hospice case management for 5–6 patients daily, performing skilled nursing assessments, coordinating with physicians for orders, documenting care in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred, and delivering care across Jefferson, St. Clair, Blount, Cullman, and Etowah Counties while meeting a productivity expectation of 25 points per week.
- Deliver high-quality hospice care by conducting home and facility visits, participating in a backup on-call rotation, maintaining accurate EMR documentation, and ensuring compliance with Alabama RN licensure, current CPR certification, and hospice care standards during a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule.
Must have qualifications/experience: RN with Hospice experience
What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart? EMR documentation experience in Home Care Home Base preferably.
Type of certification required: Valid RN license to practice in the state of Alabama as well as current CPR certification.
