Description
Job Title: Medical Technologist (Travel/Contract)
Assignment Details:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Afternoon, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or in a similar laboratory role
- Experience with Beckman Coulter laboratory equipment is required
- Experience with the Beckman Coulter AU system is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including Beckman Coulter analyzers
- Analyze and interpret test results while ensuring quality control standards are met
- Follow laboratory policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support timely patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records
