Description
Cheshire Medical Center (Keene, NH)
Labor & Delivery (L&D) / Birth Center Registered Nurse – Night Shift
- Schedule: 4x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:30) | 13 Weeks | 48 Hours Per Week Guaranteed (36-hour schedules are strictly unavailable).
- Weekend & Holiday Commitments: Every Other Weekend (EOW) and designated holiday rotation schedules are mandatory.
- Block Scheduling Policy: Block schedules or specific shift accommodations will not be considered under any circumstances.
- On-Call Commitments: To be determined (TBD) by the department unit leadership.
- The Clinical Setting: A unique, midwife-led collaborative Birth Center emphasizing low-intervention, supportive, and empowered natural birth experiences, backed by a comprehensive network of acute care medical resources. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.
Submission Hardstops [STRICT / NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Agency Compliance Mandate [CRITICAL]: Effective immediately, the submitting agency must upload their New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License / Registration Certificate up front alongside the candidate profile. Per state law, the facility cannot and will not review any traveler profile lacking this agency documentation.
- Experience Baseline: Minimum 2 years of current Labor & Delivery experience is required.
- Dual-Competency Requirement: Verifiable Postpartum and Mother/Baby (Couplet Care) clinical experience is mandatory.
- EMR Requirement: Active, independent charting proficiency within Epic EMR is required.
- Licensure & Certifications: Active New Hampshire state RN license or valid multi-state Compact RN license must be uploaded directly inside the profile. Must hold active AHA BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
- Exclusivity Clause: Candidates cannot work this contract in conjunction with another local permanent position or concurrent travel assignment. Full, uncompromised availability is required.
- Radius Restriction: Local travelers are strictly blocked. Candidates residing within 50 miles of the Keene facility will not be considered, and the candidate's permanent address must be clearly detailed in the submission profile.
- Logistics: Travelers must have their own personal vehicle on-site for reliable transit.
- Time-Off Constraints: All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be locked in at the time of submission. RTO cannot exceed a maximum of 5 days total (fewer days preferred). Any requests introduced during the interview or after the offer is generated will be rejected and may result in an immediate rescission of the offer.
- Accelerated Compliance Window: Upon contract acceptance, all medical and occupational health compliance items must be completely ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 calendar days. Proofs must be instantly uploaded to Trio.

- Active AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification issued or renewed within the past 3 years.
