Job Description:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Fort Wayne, IN
Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day, Evening & Night Shifts Available

Registered Respiratory Therapists provide high-quality, compassionate cardiopulmonary care in an acute care setting, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. In this role, you will assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders across a variety of patient populations. Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapies, managing oxygen delivery systems, operating mechanical ventilators, performing diagnostic procedures, responding to emergency situations, and delivering evidence-based care in both routine and critical care environments. Opportunities are also available to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the day shift.

Compensation & Incentives

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Current Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and assist with patient mobility as needed

Required Certifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
