    Cheyenne, WY

    About

Rugged pioneers following the path of the transcontinental railroad birthed Wyoming's capital city, and Cheyenne still has the distinct feel of the Wild West today. Its annual Cheyenne Frontier Days last over 10 days in July each year and feature one of the largest outdoor rodeos and Western celebrations in the world. Enjoy daily rodeos, major concerts, parades, a carnival with rides and games and more. But no matter the time of year, you'll find plenty to do here. Explore Downtown Cheyenne with its many historic buildings, including the Renaissance/Revival-style Capitol, built in 1887 with a gold leaf dome you can see from nearly every vantage point in the city. The Nagle Warren Mansion is an iconic Cheyenne landmark as a Victorian time capsule providing a glimpse of the good life during the late 19th century. Museums, theater, antique stores and opportunities to hike and mountain bike all await you in Cheyenne.
