Description

Job Title: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) - General & Open Heart

Job Description: Join the dynamic surgical team at Dignity Yavapai Regional Medical Center West in beautiful Prescott, AZ! We are seeking an experienced and highly adaptable OR Registered Nurse who is proficient in both General OR and CVOR (Open Heart) cases. This unit features 6 surgical suites plus a hybrid room, handling a diverse caseload including total joints, spine, urology, and open heart surgeries.

Contract Details:

Start Date: 08/10/2026
Shift: 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (Days: 06:00 – 14:30 OR Evenings: 14:00 – 22:30).
Call Requirements: High call volume (up to 50% of the time for the CVOR team), including weeknights and weekends. A strict 30-minute call response time is required.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 1 year of full-time OR experience. You must be comfortable circulating for both General and CVOR cases (scrubbing is not required).
Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS.
Systems: Familiarity with Cerner EMR is a plus.
Radius Policy: Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.

Unit Highlights:

Support: Strong support system with Charge Nurses, specialty leads, and OR/Scrub Techs readily available.
Attire: Hospital-provided scrubs.
