Description
Job Title: Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CVOR Tech) – Travel Contract
Assignment Details:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Schedule: 4 days per week
- Call Requirements:
- Every fourth weekend (Friday–Sunday)
- One additional weekday call during each six-week scheduling period
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of Cardiovascular (CV) experience
- Strong experience in both Endovascular and Cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Current Surgical Technologist (ST) certification
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
- Prepare and maintain the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment
- Ensure proper sterile technique and compliance with surgical safety standards
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during complex procedures
- Support patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
