Description

Travel Registered Nurse – OB / Labor & Delivery

Location: Portage, WI
Shift: 12-Hour Variable Days/Nights
Contract: 9 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Join a collaborative Obstetrics team providing Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, and Post-Op GYN care in a supportive critical access hospital setting. This role is ideal for experienced OB nurses who are confident managing the full continuum of maternal and newborn care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, and post-operative GYN patients.
Deliver patient care following AWHONN staffing guidelines.
Perform maternal and newborn assessments, labor support, postpartum care, and newborn care.
Float within the OB department as needed and assist other hospital units with non-assignment tasks when required.

Requirements

Active Wisconsin RN License
BLS (AHA or ARC)
Advanced NRP
Minimum 2 years of OB and Labor & Delivery experience
At least one completed travel assignment
Recent Epic EMR experience required
Critical Access Hospital experience highly preferred
AWHONN and PALS preferred
