Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including general and vascular studies.
- Prepare and position patients while explaining examination procedures.
- Operate Philips ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations independently.
- Recognize abnormal findings and ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and report operational concerns as needed.
Requirements
- Experience performing all general ultrasound procedures.
- Vascular ultrasound experience is required.
- No Obstetric (OB) imaging is required for this assignment.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging department.
Required Certifications
ARDMS and/or ARRT (Sonography) (per facility requirements)
